Texas A&M AgriLife Extension offers a wide range of online child care training courses with certificates for providers in Utah looking to complete mandatory training requirements. These courses are designed for child care providers to meet the health, safety, and developmental needs of children.
We are an approved training organization recognized by the Utah Registry for Professional Development. Our courses align with the requirements set by the State of Utah Department of Workforce Services – Office of Child Care. Upon completion of course modules, pre- and post-assessments, and activities, you will receive a certificate that can be used for attendance verification and training completion.

Utah CDA Training Courses, Scholarships, and Financial Support
Texas A&M AgriLife Extension offers course work that will assist you in meeting the 120 hours of training required to obtain your CDA certification and meets the guidelines outlined by the Council for Professional Recognition. These courses are offered as a bundle or may be taken individually to meet specific training needs.
Scholarships and Financial Support, including CDA Scholarships, are available in Utah.
Business and Leadership Courses
Texas A&M AgriLife Extension offers business and leadership courses that support Utah’s Child Care Quality System (CCQS). These courses are available under the ‘Professional Development and Leadership’ section of our course catalog.
Special Education/Inclusion Courses
Providers can access financial incentives through Utah’s ‘All Means All’ program for completing 40 hours of Career Ladder-approved training in special needs and inclusive practices. Texas A&M AgriLife Extension offers a variety of courses in these areas to help meet training expectations. About PEEQ and Texas A&M AgriLife Extension
Promoting Early Education Quality (PEEQ) is a program of Texas A&M AgriLife Extension dedicated to encouraging the adoption of research- and evidence-based practices in all levels of the early education field. Established in 2004, the program supports early childhood educators by providing professional development training.
Our courses provide research-based content and best-practice, practical strategies for early childhood educators in various settings, such as child care centers, Head Start programs, home care programs, and public schools.
